About Me
My name is Robin Bailey. I am a married Mormon Dad of 3 kids. I am an Electrical Engineer from Utah State University. I have taken an oath to defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I also carry a firearm on a daily basis. I am an American, with a American Family, American Church and American Education who lives his American Rights.
I was born and raised in Vernal, Utah as the middle of three kids. After High School, I studied CNC Machining for a year, and then went on a LDS mission to Washington DC from 2000-2002. After returning home, I married my eternal companion, Emily.
We are the proud parents of three kids with another on the way. We started our family while I was just starting school. I graduated from Utah State University, with my wife and three kids helping me the whole way. Unfortunately, they would only allow my name on the Diploma.
Upon graduation, I was awarded a Palace Acquire position, as a Civilian, with the Air Force. I will be starting a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering next fall. I will not have to work during the time, but will still be given full salary and receive paid tuition and books. The DoD is also paying off my student loans.
My interests are Robotics, Electronics and R/C Cars and Aircraft. I have build several robot platforms and have a few amazing designs I am currently working on. I have also invented a new “modular” robot architecture. It is my hope to spin-off a small research robotics company in the near future.
I am also a self proclaimed non-sportsman Gun Nut who uses a firearm within the scope of the Bill of Rights for Self Protection against threats Foreign and Domestic. The Second Amendment is the only check to Government Tyranny and its own standing army. I am, however, more concerned about criminals and protection of my family. I Open Carry (visibly) carry a Beretta PX4 Storm with occasional concealment.
